No it’s not, Vedanta teaches the reality of the Supreme Being Brahman, that consciousness is eternal and unchanging, that the Sruti texts are revealed scriptures and many other premises which are rejected by Buddhism. Adi Shankaracharya refuted Buddhism by pointing out among other issues how their doctrine of no-self makes no sense and is contradicted by the nature of how we experience things.

Buddhism took like 75% of his metaphysics from the Upanishads that predates him (karma, avidya, transmigration, misidentification with the body and mind, etc) and then Buddhists have the nerve to say the Vedanta based on those Upanishads is rehashed Buddhism; truly absurd.
