Films:

1. Alien, (the rest in no particular ranking) The Shining, Lawrence of Arabia, Eraserhead, Blade Runner.

Albums

1. Aphex Twin, Selected Ambient Works Volume 2. I never tire of it, the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I don't have another four for a well-thought-out top five but I've also listened to Kevin Drumm-Imperial Distortion very regularly over the past four years or so. Lots of drone and lo-fi occult-related tapes. I don't really listen to any one album regularly except for the above two, though Andrew Chalk alos has good drone.

Books

I don't really have favorite books in any genre like "wow, this really speaks to me". But I've made projects of certain books which have been personally interesting. I had my Dostoevsky phase like 20 years ago and I did start paying full attention when i got to the Grand Inquisitor, I got to that section cold with no context and I independently realized that it was important. Two art books I've really enjoyed and read very carefully are M.C. Escher: His Life and Complete Graphic Work, and Mark Rothko: The Works on Canvas. Both are meticulous monographs, each being the best books on the respective artists. I want to re-read the Escher book at some point. The Onion: Our Dumb Century holds up very well and remains the funniest book I've ever read, though nowadays it's likely to get blasted around these quarters as cringe/reddit/etc (It contains a joke about Finnegans Wake before it was cool, look it up). The Harvard Design School Project on the City Volume 2: Guide to Shopping is a dated but interesting book on old mall spaces, retail trash architecture, globalism, urban planning, and so forth. In math, I personally had a good time with the Boyce/DiPrima text on differential equations, though there isn't anything special about the book itself to recommend it. And i look forward to reading lots of Cioran in the future since this is all pointless and absurd.

Film:
Harakiri (by Kobayashi not the shitty remake)
Lost Highway
Once upon a Time in the West
Oldboy (the original korean one )
Perfect Blue
(This was hard because there are so many great films out there. I wish to have included Persona or The Thing aswell.)

Novels:
Absalom,Absalom
Infinite Jest
The Frolic of the Beasts
Moby Dick
Steppenwolf
(My literary taste hasn't quite developed yet, I'm reading the Crossings now and love it alot and I will read Sutree aswell as JR by Gaddis this year aswell. Blood Meridian is alright but not a masterpiece in my view.)

Music:
Beethovens 3rd Symphony
Yes - Fragile
King Crimson - Larks Tongues in Aspic
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats
Deathspell Omega - Fas ite maledictium or something like that its called
(This was easy because I some music is clearly superior to the rest, although I wish I could have included some jazz or Gustav Mahler symphony aswell)

It's the WORLD of Apu faggot, or in Bengali Apur Sansar, and it's part of a trilogy. No one would recommend this film alone, it wouldn't make sense. You would know that if you actually tried watching anything other than transformers, avengers or pornhub HD.
It's always funny seeing midwits try their hands at contempts when they can possibly do it because they lack the necessary background for it. You mock people with taste, but we can recognise each other, we can pretend to be you while you will never be able to do the contrary. Mock us, my friend, mock us, but know this: you look like an ant cursing God while drowning in my piss. Literally everyone here is laughing at you right now.
