The funny thing is that it never explicitly mentions Islam, he just uses words from the religion and justifies it by saying the actual religion is lost, they just have enough remnants for people to build on and have a prophecy.

E.g. "I didn't explicitly say Islam because I didn't want to get my head cut off by extremist lunatics."
