There are no pseud books, there are midwit books like Taleb, Chomsky, Pinker, Hitchens (Christopher of course) etc. but pseud books are the same set as patrician books except pseuds don't actually read them, they name drop them, read wikipedia articles about them to appear smart or have a very superficial understanding of them

This is me but I mainly use Zapffe's thesis because it's shorter and suitable for my pseud attention span.
I would also recommend watching an interview of René Girard on YouTube in which talks about his theory of desire and scapegoating.
