Honestly Adorno was correct when he said that Spengler was relegated to obscurity because all subsequent philosophers had been unable to properly address and critique his ideas.
I was very disappointed in Adorno's critique of Spengler which boiled down to 'he is so pessimistic because he believes in a broad-brush history of domination which totally neglects the primacy of the individual and the masses in affecting the historical trajectory!!!!!'
