Falstaff being my favourite character, Bradley’s analysis hits right at the heart of why I love him so much (Dover Wilson’s Fortunes of Falstaff is equally a favourite for the same reason) - a character who, by all rights, we should find disgraceful is able to charm us with his wit and jollity and his bald-faced disrespect for both his fellow characters and audience. I think that’s where I find the work most enticing; in its attempts to fit our love for Falstaff neatly alongside our love for Shakespeare, Bradley reveals just how magnetic Shakespeare’s characters can be - Falstaff’s rejection feels so wrong because Falstaff himself feels so right to us (I think I might be verging into pop song lyricism here, but still). The work shows us Falstaff escaping the bounds of the play and becoming a force on his own, directly in opposition to his creator. The incongruence of his fate is testament to his enormity. I think I’m borrowing a fair bit from Bloom in explaining myself, but certainly my love for the work is sincere.

Why would 'they' data mine your MBTI type when advertising companies already have far, far more data collected about you and freely sell it to anyone?

How do some people live with such a sense of entitlement? They have to act like everything is about them because they're a woman. It's so vain listening to people like this act like they're entitled to respect and admiration just because they exist. lol go fuck yourself.

Not him but basically science is supposed to be a thing where you can reproduce the same results using the same method and elements. So, one day, for kicks, Nature asked scientists to pick a valid study and replicate it with the same methods. It didn't work. It worked least well in soft sciences but shit like chemistry and physics and basically everything got low grades. Like C student grades in hard sciences. Nature published this and science kind of has been going "ummmmmm...." and tinkering with shit since.
At least I think it was Nature that originally published it.

MBTI is a bastardization of Jungian Analytical Typology, I thought /lit/ would have known this by now. Also INTJs are the cancer of intellectual society and are singelhandedly responsible for the ((enlightenment)). Fight me.
