It's a good thing. It would suck to have all the answers... It's better for there to be some mystery, some horizons we can only wonder at. It also leaves wiggle room for comforting beliefs re: existence and death, which I think are beneficial to the average person.

P.S. That's an apu, not a pepe.

>Kleist in his youth had espoused with enthusiasm all the optimism of the Enlightenment. Reason would conquer all; happiness would come with experience and understanding. In March 1801, however, by his own account, he seems to have encountered the thought of Immanuel Kant (it is not clear what precisely he read), and his world fell apart. By testing the nature and limits of human knowledge, Kant had sought primarily to establish the possibility of a meaningful metaphysics. To Kleist, however, it was much grimmer than that: Kant had shown, he believed, that empirical knowledge was unreliable, reason illusory, truth unattainable and life quite meaningless. ‘My sole and highest goal has vanished,’ he wrote. ‘Now I have none.'

Think about what is valuable in it, what truth it appeals to, and wonder at it and live life through it in your knowledge.

You need to be more intuitive in your grasp of knowledge anon. From there will you get a properly intellectual understanding of Dasein which you are mistaking for the first [of learning].

Sad indeed. I can understand, he pictures perfectly the fall to horrid modernity, but he should have known, there was still a glimmer in that old world, and the truth of then that is always now, was but a pretence to be lost. There are things to be happy for more.

Personally I think we are "god"(or reality) because existence is non-dual. I don't believe this shit about trying to "forget" anything though. I think we exist because the default state is infinite existence.
