This. Pretending like you can read philosophy as you read an average novel is fucking stupid.

Philosophy is a knowledge field like any other and it requires study and progression, that's why I don't understand why people casually suggest philosophy reading here next to fucking Ready player one. (I guess they're trying to appear smart.)

You don't just pick any astrophysics study and assume you'll understand it because you did some arithmetics in school.
