It's true that these problems are acknowledged but it's exclusively so that all these individuals are redirected to the wall of absolute cold indifference that is mental "health" infrastructure. The moment you happen to oppose the system and feel suicidal because you are unhappy in it, you are basically told to kill yourself as a person or kill yourself for real.
Also people actively cheer for the death of men who kill themselves. There's nothing that says "fuck off and die" more than a bot that automatically PMs you a suicide hotline's number if you mention depression anywhere.
It's only acceptable to be depressed if you are one of the designed minorities who are oppressed, but in that case it doesn't matter if you are depressed or not.
