Good question, terrible responses. I like the idea that we are in the ruins (of history) and that we need to stand up after acknowledging our defeats and at least have the dignity and nobility to try and (re)build something worthy of preserving. I was also impressed by the identification of and emphasis towards the eternal warrior archetype. Its nothing I can pinpoint (I've actually only read a couple essays) but I like how reading him helped me put what i would describe as "aryanism" (i.e. his insights into buddhism as an active spiritualism as opposed to Abrahamic passivity) into that eternal warrior context.
I don't think he is really that profound. I do think in comparison to say Guenon he is too focused on politics and that he has a tendency towards hylicism. That said I do think hes a decent intro into actually interesting "right wing" work. It just suffers from being too politically charged at times and not metaphysically consistent and rigorous enough. Like I said though, this is from a pretty superficial reading.
As always though, not as good as the classics.

I have several of Evolas books but due to my monitoring and experimentation i only managed to get through Revolt Against the Modern world which i felt was very difficult but also I tabbed many pages for the value of their statements.
To me the book seemed to say we are living in the Kali Yuga and its basically impossible as well as foolish to do so like bashing your head against a wall but you could bring valuable things to human consciousness by living through a dark age. It seemed to me he was saying buckle up because shit sucks, heres the symptoms of shit sucking in civilization, heres what happened in the past, and here are some ways to cope with it. The problem is that I think because of how advanced the Dark occultists ie the CIA and Illuminati are in terms of their tech and understanding of metaphysics they can basically invaldidate Evolas teachings in current year if you are basically on a kill/experiment list.

Think of the movie Captain America Wintersolider where the deepstate nazis use tech to identify threats and then kill them with a space based weapon system but instead of shells its being tortured and eperimented on using DEW and V2k tech along with hypergame theory for your entire life.
