I am reading right it now, I will never stop laughing at the fact that as per the intro, Samuel Delany wrote this because he gets turned on by the idea of being a little blonde boy who follows around a rape gang as their sperm receptacle gimp. What a sick puppy. It's actually vaguely entertaining so far though.

Apparently, once you've reached a certain level of fame as a writer, you can just sit back and type out all your gross/degenerate/taboo/pedo/etc fapfantasies with one hand and instead of you being put on an FBI watchlist and ostracized people will gobble this shit up and call it high art. That's what the example of Heinlein, Anthony and Delaney has taught me. On one hand, it seems cringey and unfair, on the other hand, seeing as they've made it through the 'achieving fame' part, I guess they've sort of earned it.

Piers Anthony, Refugee. It's sort of like Blood Meridian or the Road in space, but a) written from the perspective of the victims b) badly written. The plot is basically the MCs family and a party of poor refugees it joins getting robbed, raped, killed, rinse and repeat, until only the MC and his sister remain. In the end even his sister is sort of kidnapped by a reverse-trap pirate captain, but at least this time it's likely going to be consensual, because she's hinted to be something of a tomboy herself. It has some unintentionally funny quotes and some drawn out autistic fragments about technology, weapons, etc. Seems like a lot of wasted potential and could be decent if it was more polished, but as it is still worth skimming for a couple of keks.

Delany is truly a next level degenerate more so than the others, he is like a higher IQ version of furfags who dig up dirty diapers from the dumpster. Hogg is one long shitpost about how much he enjoys sucking dick and drinking pee and child rape (being the child for sure at least) and putting all manner of disgusting, dirty and turd coated objects into his mouth, holy lmao. It is actually quite a compelling read because somehow he manages to make the mindsets of such people coherent, without Hogg the thoughts of these absolute madmen would have remained an enigma to me. I feel like I've learned something about human nature.

Delaney's esteem actually did diminish for awhile, and it's only in the last 10 years that he's become popular again. Also Heinlein is tame shit, what kind of pussy thinks Stranger in a Strangeland is a prime example of degeneracy?

i'll compile a little list, please reply with your thoughts if you've read any of these, if wonder if others are as much into degen prose as i am. reddit spacing for convenience

Dennis Cooper for gay shit. basically this >>16752313 incessantly.
Also, poppy brite, but s/he is a pretty bland faghag, like Palahniuk turned gay.

jap stuff: Ryu Murakami. pretty solid. grotesque in that jappy oriental sense, pulpy there, some soul here.

classic shit: Bataille. no intro needed, i had a raging hard-on from the eye scene reading it on public transport

Peter Sotos. factual, crude, raw, feels like he's jerking you off with a dry calloused hand. juicy shit.

plotless rotten gore, no logic or natration: James Havoc.
similar feel, but more pleasant, Pierre Gyotat. at times it's almost sensual, almost sorry. enjoyed Tomb a lot.

Cows by Stokkoe. disgusting and thrilling, a true niche classic, quite little-known. 10/10 from me.

maybe i'll recall more sometime later. if there are ruanons itt, try Masodov and Yelizarov, most exquisite stuff, latter reminds me of Sorokin a lot, but with a different tone - not sure if available in english.
irl im a hermit volcel that goes to church and reads magic realism stories before bed i'll attach a chart, hope it's the revised version. i contributed in those threads

By making messiah and his followers practice polyamory he basically proclaims it as the norm. But it isn't, it's not for everyone, and having polyamory pushed on a monogamous human is just as oppressive as 'prudes' persecuting and 'slut-shaming' the polyamorous snowflakes. Also, Heinlein dissing homosexuality while extolling cucking and incest is pretty illogical, hypocritical, dishonest and hilarious.

Yeah Heinlein's homophobia and his goofy racism in Stranger (remember that sleazy greaseball middle eastern character?) doesn't really jive with the love cult thing and at heart he was always a conservative curmudgeon. He wrote Stranger as an exercise in "breaking every norm." It was a dare given to him in the late 40s I believe, and the book went unpublished until the 60s. Also I'm not sure that there are truly monogamous humans, the people who are most vocal about this shit are always the first to cheat.

Sorry, I really didn't want to trigger you by mentioning stuff that you hate because it's popular, but thing is, I couldn't find anything more 'literary' to compare Sade's awkward pacing and 'sexposition' to, just because his prose is so shitty there is really nothing as shitty as it in the whole Western canon. Even he realized it. See, he wanted to be a legitimate writer, and was pretty butthurt that only his porn novels brought him money and notoriety. His attempts at 'serious' literature failed because he was a hack. Must've been pretty depressing. Perhaps it was one of the reasons for the decline of his mental health.

>Sorry, I really didn't want to trigger you by mentioning stuff that you hate because it's popular
Yeah you really "triggered" me, that's a word that can be applied to anyone who thinks you're retarded. You're a real provocateur, that's why I'm so triggered! And I have no doubt that you genuinely think the only reason to disdain pop culture is because it's popular. You completely lack the ability to differentiate between Classics and hurr durr GoT hurr durr
>I couldn't find anything more 'literary' to compare Sade's awkward pacing and 'sexposition' to, just because his prose is so shitty
No, it's because you're a total pseud who's largely unfamiliar with literature and like everyone else of your ilk, you think harshly but vacuously criticizing the Greats impresses as informed. So you pose and say "Sade is total shit" and feel superior.
>his prose is so shitty there is really nothing as shitty as it in the whole Western canon. Even he realized it. See, he wanted to be a legitimate writer, and was pretty butthurt that only his porn novels brought him money and notoriety. His attempts at 'serious' literature failed because he was a hack. Literally none of this is true, and not simply untrue in the way that some popular misconceptions aren't true, but untrue in the way that it's totally out of your ass and yours alone. "See, he wanted" lmao that tone, amazing. Must be easier to play make believe than to actually know anything. You're as stupid as you are smug. You're a brainlet nonentity, "must be pretty depressing. Perhaps it's one of the reasons for your posturing." You have no idea what makes Sade Sade or why he's been so widely read and debated and, mainly, revered. You have no idea what makes a Great and what causes a hack, and why Sade is the former case and no one respectable has ever accused him of being the latter. You don't know how he influenced other great novelists like Flaubert and great poets and great philosophers. You have no place in a discussion of literature at all. So shut your mouth and keep to your actual interests, such as are actually within your mental capacity, you perfect argument for eugenics.

you have to admit Sade's writing is very mediocre. his style is awkwardly overdressed at times, boringly bare at others, so to say, and the degeneracy despite it's world-infamous scandalousness and grotesque is pretty plain, repetetive. Characters are one-dimensioned and poorly developed.

As a social figure, a rebellious revolutionary, de Sade is very prominent and important. but as a writer he's shite.
