When I just started getting into literature some girl approached me while I was waiting for a friend and reading the Trial and she seemed genuinely impressed for some reason. I started stammering about pseud philosophical shit because together with Kafka I just took the absurdism/existentialism meme for a week and in hindsight it's all terribly cringe and she probably knew. Then my friend came and cucked me out of further embarrassing myself.
