If I had to guess it’s because there’s not a lot of theory associated with the German variant and it eschews a lot of the syndicalist stuff. Overall it seems less intellectually serious.

Because the roots of the ideology are in Italy, not in Germany. National Socialism is just one of many variants of it. Also, many racially mixed people get self cucked out of NatSoc ideology, it's also easier for them to feel more comfortable with vanilla fascism, even though Nuremberg laws explicitly state that you're not an untermensch just because you're of mixed race.
