What are some fiction works I can read to really step outside of myself and see who I am?

If it helps I'm in my early 20's (ofc), black, upper lower class, and a leftist. (Anyone who wants to troll, just give me a book that would destroy me thx)

Any fictional version of his thought? I'm only asking you because I've read so much leftist books that I think I'll just feel immune. Mostly because his arguments (from what I've gleamed of him) are old and unnuanced. If it doesnt resonate with me from an everyday perspective, I dont think it will work.

The curve bell lol. Now seriously I would recommend the following if you want to amplify your perspective.
>Start with the greeks
>Read the existentialists(Camus, Satre, Kierkegaard)
>Nietzsche
>Maybe some essays of Schopenhauer

I've done a lot of acid and shrooms, it's never changed me. I think I need some character growth as a primer beforehand, fiction is great for this.

Fucking cringe. You know the institutions are only pandering to you as a useful idiot, right?

I've read most notable greeks, each magnum opus for those respective existentialists, the Genealogy of Morals, and some Schope here and there. Do I need to just dig deeper? And also, are there any fiction works by them worth checking out (I've read the Stranger mind you)

Try to read more by Nietzsche and schopy, then go for Stirner and Jung. I would suggest reading books of other religions to see other perspectives and ideas.

Thank you. I thought this thread was a waste, but I'll look into these.

No problem. Also since you are a lefty I must assume you have read most of leftcore, so also try to read books of other ideologies. I did the same.
