Does anyone here get what normies call 'book hangovers'?
I finished reading Blood Meridian and started reading Infinite Jest the next day but couldn't get into it at all. Ended up buying the Border Trilogy.

Everyone gets that, complicated books are obvs too complicated to read one after another.

>book hangover
>post series depression

All these things are the deep subconscious psychological effects that media has upon us. The more engaged for the longer a period of time, the stronger this feeling is. It is the revelation that escapism is but a mask of the void. A fantasy so strong that reality becomes the simulation.

Everyone gets that. You still need some time to think about it.

Yeh I've had that a couple times. I've just had it with films as well, up until like yesterday for a good two weeks the only things I could watch more than ten minutes of before getting bored and turning it off were Leone westerns.
