Because dissent from the egalitarian fairy tale which is taught to all children raised in the United States and Europe from kindergarten is considered to be, at best, wrong, and at worst, literally nazism, only the staunchest of boot lickers and the most pliable and credulous would apply and actually follow through. Since Hiroshimoot obviously doesn't give a fuck about the absolute state of this website, the moderation team surely then gatekeeps what content is allowed to exist on this website and what ideas are allowed to be promoted.

As any regular user knows, moderation on 4chan is very inconsistent. If all my bans were taken together, I have probably been banned from posting on this website for a combined 90 days or more. I don't really change my posting style at all; all my bans I received for intentionally breaking the rules (calling people niggers, posting Sneed, etc). When I actually do get banned, it's just because some butthurt jannie happened to see it in the report queue that day. I'm confident that I have been reported many more times than I have been banned, and many times I report posts which clearly break the rules and many times they remain up forever. If moderation were more consistent, the overall quality of posts would be improved.

Leaked IRC chats which included statements from 4chan mods make it clear that the moderation team is not interested in the quality of 4chan, but are interested in maintaining their own power, deleting posts which they simply don't like to see, amusing themselves within their inner circle, and obtaining hormone replacement "therapy" treatment. Considering this, I wager that without a complete purge of the moderation staff and a total reform, there will be no improvement in the quality of content on 4chan.

Given all this, I can give you an answer, OP. No, I will not apply to be a janny. I will not do it for free.

30 of those days were in a single ban, when some brave sneedposter started shitposting the Reylo general and I popped in to post the letter "S" to start a chain of comments to spell out "Sneed". I and many other people received 30 days bans that day and the jannies worked overtime to scrub the thread. If you compared the archive website version of the thread to the 4chan local archive of it when it was finished, the jannies deleted something like 300+ posts and preserved the "on topic" posts. I don't even know why. It didn't help. By the end of that day, the Reylo general was utterly destroyed. It never appeared again.
