Librarian here. Any library worth going to has a cap (usually around $5) and we'll waive it if you don't do this constantly. Thriving libraries are ones that know they are a public service, not Blockbuster.

Find a discarded spellbook and rifle through it inbetween your 20 hour scribing shifts. You may have to tear off your shirt and bandage your bleeding hands before you can turn the page but if you’re lucky you can find a teleportation ritual and escape the continent.
Just make sure that the Dewey Decimal Sys-Temporal Knights don’t catch you slacking off or they’ll feed you to the Thesaurus
