If you have trouble understand this, I highly recommend Routledge Philosophy Guidebook to Hegel and the Phenomenology of Spirit by Robert Stern. It's very unique in that it represents this work as a phenomenology, which it is, and is actually quite rare since people love to taint it with their own ideas.
