I am a cumbrain, but it is unironically more interesting to spend 6 hours reading articles on wookiepedia than it is to watch the last two star wars movies. The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker are fucking stupid and according to some heavy rumours, are about to be stricken from the canon and replaced with a new trilogy with the reasoning like the Marvel movies have with the "multi-verse" and the Rey trilogy will just be one possible course of events following the fall of the Empire.

Also star wars has some. Han Solo adventures by Brian Daley is from before Empire strikes back came out and it's just han and chewie going to various planets on adventures.

Also recommend the first darth bane book. Main character escapes working in a mine by joining up with the sith military
