Cops always first and foremost do their jobs nothing else. Besides did you see the footage? Floyd was doing everything in his power not to get into the car and constantly claiming he was claustrophobic(weird considering he was just driving one) to the point they offered to have the windows open. Floyd was clearly very stressed and panicking and I can see why people think the cops could've done a better job but your still assuming that he wasn't trying to desperately weasel out of the situation which is equally likely and something the cops need to take into account and have zero tolerence for.
