Upload consistently. 1 video per week, 1 per month, 2 per month etc doesnt matter as long as there is consistency.
Quality before quantity. One thorough 60-120 minute video per month about a book or an author is way way better than a short, shallow video ever few days.
Make your hour long video watchable, dont make it painful to listen to(dont stutter too much etc)
Thats the gist of it. If you do this and put out the highest quality content you can you WILL be successful with your channel sooner or later. Maybe in 1 year maybe in 3 but eventually it will click provided you can keep it consistent keep putting out good content despite getting little attention(the attention will come later, with consistency its guaranteed)
