That's because you read cringe Kaufmann's The Portable Nietzsche.

Any leftists and especially feminist types who like Nietzsche are nothing but LARPers, at least one can proceed rather coherently from Nietzsche to something like Fascism even if he doesn't fit into any ideology.

It literally did, regardless of religious affiliation it's really hard to deny that literacy rose greatly and the sciences began to be studied more critically though this wasn't entirely, or even mostly, the result of the reformation

>en read him and as a woman your interest in philosophy only goes as far as "why can't it be simple?"
Not him, but it is likely a misunderstanding regarding what the status quo even means. If you look at it in terms of power and economics, fascism becomes the last ditch effort of the status quo to save itself, by concentrating its power into an autocratic government. This does require a scapegoat as to seem like they actually are against the status quo. He probably does not recognize this and believes that if all major corporations would stop supporting progressive ideals, it would be the same as the status quo changing, even though the power is still in the hand of business owners and the government that supports said business owners.

/his/ is generally more on-topic than /lit/ is, most of the threads in the catalog are actually about history. However, most of the users are utter retards whose knowledge of history is entirely dependent on pop culture, Wikipedia articles, and other posts on /his/. Barely anyone talks about history books unless they're memes like Guns, Germs, and Steel.
/lit/, on the other hand, hardly ever talks about literature. The vast majority of threads at any given time are either thinly disguised off-topic threads, or incredibly lame philosophy threads populated by the same kind of people as on /his/. However, there are still a lot of well-read people that lurk, and occasionally you can still have interesting discussions.
/his/ and /lit/ are two sides of the same coin, and unless mods and jannies actually start doing their jobs, they're both going to stay shit forever. Personally, I think deleting /his/ and replacing it with a "Humanities - General" board would be for the best. We need to draw a line between book discussion and non-book discussion.
