Basically why I'm not a commie. Since I'm expected to deal with the fact that there are winners and losers in the sexual marketplace and that you're not owed anyone's company, I've no problem accepting that similarly there are winners and losers when it comes to economic competition. If you have a basic standard of living where people aren't literally starving then success in the social realm is more important to well-being than being financially well off. So if I'm not a commie for the same reasons I don't begrudge people for having sex/friends.
