i've reached my final form.
reading lists will be spilling out over the next couple weeks.
some examples so far:
plato
wittgenstein
war
epidemiology
chess
nietzsche
arendt
international world order
etc.

request lists and any titles you all want. i will begin to scan again, upload and share. the more specific the reading list, the better.

we're open for business, boys.

also, please note: i understand people have access to libraries and librarians, as well as libgen, etc (please see my external links page)--all those are valuable resources, and i encourage you all to explore them fully.

i hope only to offer another alternative for explorations into "deep" knowledge regarding the selected topics. i do not intend to take the place of more general libraries--only as a supplement.

any feedback is appreciated. i would like to sublimate and transform this thing into a public, shared, valuable common function/project. please help me supply you all--especially those who don't have access to academic libraries--with what you want/need.

Unironically based
What have you got on Shakespeare?

Thanks for the lists, rapture. In terms of the private collection, how is it accessible? Is it accessible online or is it entirely physical?

Interesting project. Can I ask what inspired this?
Breaking down your lists into more manageable sections, or even providing starting points or trajectories for reading would be great. Maybe you cover that already.
Do you have anything on Shakespeare? I saw a link to Go—do you play or have books on the topic?
Thanks.

"deep" knowledge could include a compilation of annotations, talking points, and summaries from your book club. would be interesting to see how they change over time.

by the way, did you see the request in the last thread about scanning Creative & Critical Thinking by W. Edgar Moore, 2nd edition (1985) and uploading it onto libgen?

i will make a more formal process on the website for requests and retrievals soon. for now, i am a little limited in terms of capacity (i've hired two people for full-time scanning, but they won't start for another 2 months), but have decided to go for it--any book you see is available for scanning. please limit your requests to your top two choices for now--again, limited capacity. i will note, queue, scan and upload over time, and will let you know via threads on here.

not comfortable uploading GO yet--its nowhere close to done, just got a new shipment of books with some GO theory so wait on that.

shakespeare is nowhere close to done as well. i'll post it for you now--but please understand that it is in the process of completion and subject to dynamic revision. comments are open, so if you have suggestions for significant additions/changes, please let me know.

>>15567786
these are great suggestions, thank you.
didn't see the book before.
im tired right now--please provide a link to whatever copy/edition you are referring to, i'll get it, i'll scan it, ill upload it to libgen (probably a week? unless it is super high priority or something; i have a system in place and a queue as is); i'll make a thread letting you know.

sure thing, here is the link, it looks like this:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2343264.Creative_and_Critical_Thinking

take your time, and I'm sure you have more important things to deal with right now. the price of this book, even used copies has skyrocketed recently, probably due to its popularity on /lit/, so a freely available 2nd edition pdf would be invaluable. I and a lot of other people on this board would greatly appreciate it.

Yo, you have to add Saul Kripke’s book to the Wittgenstein list. It’s no exaggeration to say it is one of the most influential commentaries on any philosopher ever. We’re talking Aquinas exegesis on Aristotle tier in terms of dissemination.
