Is there anything more pathetic than Oriental Commies touting the lowest garbage excrement of European Jews? Like, it's not even your trash, it's our trash! And you were once a great civilization with a great literature.

The General Theory of Employment Interest and Money is kind of like how The Communist Manifesto was to all of the major Communist countries to modern day statesmen.

Keynes himself was in the state. You probably owe a lot of what is in that book to what FDR did to ease the economy after the Great Depression.

There are some good ideas, but it’s simply a manual for how to ‘fix’ the economy during the modern day with an economic system that doesn’t logically make sense. I thought the book was okay, but you know Keynes is the pop music of economics.

Marx's predictions were actually almost entirely wrong. Following WW1, capitalist countries entered a time of extreme prosperity and surplus, and wages skyrocketed (until the end of Bretton-Woods). As for the "immiseration" of the workers that the promised would happen, well, we're still waiting. With our 35 hour work-weeks in current year.

Yeah, he got some things right, but only in the same way the Sybils also got some things right.

did you skip the part , where he mentions where capitalism enters its late stage before any change happens
>As for the "immiseration" of the workers that the promised would happen, well, we're still waiting. With our 35 hour work-weeks in current year.
last i checked most of the working population in a free market economy lives bellow these standarts and they fluctuate every time the system enters a crisis, do you think we will recover from every crisis until the end of times?

Just because it doesn't dangle a God and heaven beyond earth? It instead dangles a future heaven on earth. The perfect ends that can justify any present means. wtf is this mental gymnastics? Is this what the enlighten thinkers of pol belive?
it give a goal to strive toawards a goal that has to be built by people, they dont even have to be communists, it also offers a critic of the current system and a alternative religion dont do this you also dont have to read all of what marx said to agree with you just need to understand some concepts, unlike in any religion
A religion offers non of this they just say :follow our rules and tenents and you get X reward beacause god(s) said so.

You actually believe they are going to transition out of capitalism and into communism someday? That they'll give power from the state and the aristocrats to the hands of the people, even though right now the workers dont own the means of production in the slightest?

A mandatory feature of a potential future communist government is transparency - immunity to corruption and nepotism. Without which it becomes worse than capitalism.

Now take a look at the CCP's present behaviour and imagine that ideal ever coming about naturally

il answer with a question, do you think free market capitalism is going to be prepetual? if yes how will they keep avoiding ever growing crisis?if not then what will replace it?
if you look at hisotry its undeniable that rule has become more and more collective, firs chieftains ,then kigns and nobles, republics and now representaive full sufrage democracies , eventualy we will trastion to a more collective form of rule if that is communism like marxists envisioned, i dont know but it will be something out of "left wing"school of tought

In the forseeable future, yes most likely. Even though Trump used left-wing rhetoric than any Democrat, don't see populist Fascism winning out. The establishment has enough tools with surveillance, the addiction/distraction economy, and gerrymandering/MSM as it is.

What growing crises did you have in mind? Is inequality enough, or will the disorganised and demoralised millenial poor just put up or slowly kill themselves instead

>republics
Replaced the hereditary aristocracy of nobility with a more meritocratic one
>and now representaive full sufrage democracies
From being rich off of imperialism and winning world wars. But now that the one-sided arrangement is gone and you have to compete in the free market its not looking so good. Breton-woods worked against your imperial subjects, the trade war with china we'll have to see.

Simply put, you cant get off the capitalist rat race yet until you've finished winning it
