I go to Church Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Sometimes Fridays too for a meeting.

There's a lot of stories about how people have given up alcohol, drugs, swearing, abusing their families. By coming to Christ.


I can't convince any of you big ego anons but I grew up on /b/ and I can say the church turned me from a full on spastic, smoking drugs, wasting my life alone glued to my computer to a functioning adult.

Some attractive girls have actually started convos with me just from getting to know me as a brother in Christ, never thought that was possible with how much of a neck beard I was.


Was 23 years old and couldn't even go to the store during the day yet alone talk to a female, got into drugs wound up homeless because brother is a dealer and went psycho on me.

24 now, getting built up in Christ, I'm living half way across the country with some strangers and their 4 kids. They just took me in no questions.

Year later I'm still shook I'm socially functioning now to be honest.

Not only that but all my relationships in my life are healthy ones now, there's nobody who uses you or says mean things behind your back.

It's just generally a solid choice to live with people who are making a conscious effort to be kind to one another and build each other up for success, mental health and generally a return to family values.

How pathetic, as is your god. Just read the Bible, it’s unbelievable and really explains the shitty behavior of Abrahamic religionists.

Mainly the story of Adam and Eve is very telling about all of the Abrahamic religions and their poisonous mindset. Basically, God fucked up immensely when he created the talking snake. He knew this would cause problems, and could correct it, but didn’t, which makes him incompetent.

But it gets much worse. Rather than owning his own fuckups, he instead shifts the blame unto someone else’s shoulders, namely the innocent humans who couldn’t help being curious. The fact that he transmits his blame of his mistakes onto others doesn’t just make him incompetent, it also makes him a dishonorable asshole. This is in fact a textbook example of dishonorable behavior, taking all the rewards when you do something right, but accepting none of the penalty when you do something wrong. This is classic sociopathic behavior, and the fact that he’s completely okay with letting someone else pay the price for something he’s responsible for just seals the deal.

He tries to correct this dishonorable act by becoming a human and taking up all the ‘sins’ of humanity (which, again, are his sins that he transmitted onto our shoulders), but when he does, and comes back from death, he doesn’t forgive us instantly (again, of mistakes he himself is originally responsible for), he keeps the suffering going, and will not stop the suffering unless you become a member of his club, in which he makes you constantly admit that his fuckups are actually your fuckups, even though that makes no sense at all, since he’s the one in charge of reality and even if we possessed the will to end all evil, we will never possess the ability for it. Why didn’t he use those three days he was dead to go down to hell, defeat Satan, rescue all of the souls of the damned from eternal torture, come back to earth and turn earth into an eternal garden of Eden, forever free of suffering? No, instead we get some convoluted scenario where we all have to wait until he comes back, a scenario that is once again conveniently unfalsifiable, just like the supernatural dimension this all supposedly takes place in.

In conclusion, it’s no real surprise that Abrahamic religions attract a lot of control freak psychopaths. The shifting of blame that God engages in in the very beginning of existence is a wonderful loophole for believers, which allows them to shift the blame from all the ills of the world from those responsible onto some class of others, usually disbelievers, heretics, the disobedient, etc. Basically, Abrahamic religion is cultural psychopathy, a permanent excuse of why the sufferings of the world is your opponent’s fault, and not yours
