It's actually the opposite.

Chomsky simplifies everything to almost ridiculous levels. Everything is America's fault for him, and he has supported pretty much every populist around the world for the last few decades, and then when the right-wing gets the memo and starts creating its own populist movements he suddenly acts surprise, fragile and afraid.

Not to mention the fact that he is slavery morality personified, even in his manners, in his way of speaking, in his love life.
