Ok, so I've read Kant, Fichte and Schelling. How do I approach this faggot?

You don't. He's not worth it.

> fichte, schelling
then you have been dumbed down enough to read hegel. when you will reach peak obtuseness, you will be ready for heidneger, which is the only purpose of reading hegel. if while reading heidneger you still feel some sort of doubt, then read lotze, and then go back to heidegger and you will see all your problems are vanished.

read his essay "The difference between Fichte and Schelling". Then read the Phenomenology and use the secondary Hegel's Ladder to clarify confusing sections. Afterwards read The Science of Knowledge, followed by Philosophy of Right, and then finally his lectures on the philosophy of history and his lectures on aesthetics.

Then you can read Schelling's positive philosophy, mythological philosophy, and finally philosophy of revelation.

And then after all of that you can look back and say: it wasn't true, but, when Zizek makes a Hegel joke I will know I am not missing any part of it and it really is that banal and stupid.

Read Schopenhauer instead...
Hegel is an intellectual Caliban.

You should just start with the Encyclopedia first off rather than anything else, after that you will know where to read next anyway.

only good advice here. alternatively, start with this then move on to the Encyclopedia (cambridge translation for the first book)
