Literature to cope with the fact that i'm too pure to live in the modern world but too impure to have a genuinely religious life?

Congrats OP, this may be the most authentic post I've seen on this board in a while. This is literally 99% the case for most christLARPers, guenonposters and eastern philosophy appropriators. This is the last place that anyone seeking a religious or spiritual life should be.

Take a shower, the baptism was supposed to represent cleaning yourself and starting over. Try not to call yourself anything, the Bible says let others compliment you.

I am this man.
My soul is weak and my body is clumsy, the sins are promising me the gates of hell to roughly quote a Russian song I've heard in a film (Ostrov, 2006).
I will probably never going to be able to overcome all of my sins but this is why we have a sacrament of confession left to us by Christ. We acknowledge our wretchedness and purify ourselves as often as we can, we leave the sins with Christ. This is why He died for us. God knew who we are.
Don't have illusions about yourself, the holiest of holy men sinned.
Look into Brother Lawrence's letters.

Is it really that "moral" if the chinese are shitflinging bioweapons across the globe and our entertainment industry is governed by human trafficking/pedophile cults? What about the horrific treatment of nature? Guilt-free drone/distanced warfare? Industries that capitalise on mental illness, either through pharmaceutical drugs or genital mutilation? What about the endless proxy-rioting on our streets? What about the absolute denigration of our once-important sacraments? What about the use of abortion as contraception? What about fucking Jeff Bezos? Are you fucking kidding me?

You made so many false statements that I don't even know from where to start. Your point about transgenderism is just transphobic pseudoscience. Abortion is perfectly fine since the fetus is not a person. Sacraments don't exist. I guess the point about the environment was okay.

I have no issue with gender fluidity as a concept, I just don't trust the flesh-flaying butchers yard of experimentation that is realignment surgery. They are literally making up the procedures as they go along (just watch that appalling show "I Am Jazz" if you don't believe me), all because inessential body modification is a massively profitable industry.

Also, the huge media endorsement of trans people who have fully medically transitioned has the negative effect of legitimising denial or ridicule of those who are gender fluid or outside the spectrum, but who do not undergo surgery ("trans-trenders", "apache attack helicopters", and so on).

And as for abortions, again, I am not wholly opposed to abortion. What I do not approve is the way in which people irresponsibly refuse to practise safe sex and then rely on abortion as a means of contraception without any kind of concern or guilt for the life they have just terminated.

And as for the sacraments, I am not personally religious, but I think the sheer volume of anti-religious sentiment in the world today is deeply troubling.

Well I am not going to just buy whatever some conservative documentary is peddling. What exactly is the argument against sex reassignment surgeries? People want to do it, and it has been shown that it helps a lot with gender dysphoria and reduces suicidality, so it seems to be working pretty well

No idea what this is about, the attack helicopter is a meme
>And as for abortions, again, I am not wholly opposed to abortion. What I do not approve is the way in which people irresponsibly refuse to practise safe sex and then rely on abortion as a means of contraception without any kind of concern or guilt for the life they have just terminated.
I guess it's a good thing that sex ed is becoming a thing then, kids need to learn about that stuff from an early age
>And as for the sacraments, I am not personally religious, but I think the sheer volume of anti-religious sentiment in the world today is deeply troubling.
I am very antireligious, but I don't think there is this huge attack on religion today. The popular view seems to be that religious tolerance is a virtue, that we should respect each other etc. Fundamentalists are the only ones who get shat on, but that's justified.

I know, right?! Why aren't they meditating or studying or praying or doing something in order to reach union with God/Brahman instead of wasting their time and energy LARPing on this pseudo-Japanese shithole board? Why can't I get a straight answer to this question? They're just here shitposting and "refuting" each other and calling names, what the actual fuck? How can they expect to be taken seriously?
