im assuming you speak some sort of romance language. "attend to" is only used in english to refer to helping / overseeing someone, like "The nurse attended to the patient". "Attend" (without "to") is used when you're referring to going to a school / class / meeting / etc. This is unlike how it is in for example Spanish, where "to" is used (of course translated to "a"), like in the phrase "asisto a la mejor universidad"

The Yale Philosophy department has improved drastically in recently years, to the point where it is in the Top 10. Consider the Math&Phil, or Physics&Phil programs:
