Capitalism is the issue here. Boys and girls go to public schools at the same age and both expected to go for the same jobs. Women are becoming lesser versions of men. Traditional gender relationships are being eroded. Fornication is on the rise. All of this because it helps the economy keep growing and growing. It’s truly sad that a traditional family, one in which the wife stays at home, has a sexist connotation. The problem has too many causes now. Simply lowering the age won’t make a difference. It won’t be acceptable for a 20+ year old man to marry a 12-16 year old girl anytime soon.

And I don’t condone pre-marital sex, but anyone who is against “underage” sex should be just as adamant against fornication between two teenagers. If the teen girl consents in both cases, then what is the difference? Why does the ma go to jail, but the teenage guy get of free? It’s ridiculous.

Also, make-up should be outlawed, so that naturally younger women would be more attractive and women would understand more the importance of personality rather than deceiving appearances

On a superficial level it's better, but there's something sickening about a given interaction one could have. I've been living in a pit most of my life, but once I get out I am surprised by many people and moments, so it's not all bad. That being said silly issues like age of consent (which is more refined than the mainstream talking points like transgenderism and abortion) don't change much. At least you seem to be open to the possibility of <18 being biologically attractive. Most people, however, intuitively accept what they're told and a need to rationalize it may be seen as too unorthodox, so I'm not sure how much you fit in either anon.

As for the whole "are 16 year girl olds attractive?" thing, it's undeniable that studies and common sense prove it to be so. When human lifespan was around 30 for most of human history, 14-18 year olds were the healthiest and most fertile, so of course we'd find them attractive. Age of consent, thus, addresses another issue entirely: morality. We want to give a person a chance to intellectually mature as much as we can before letting them choose their life path.

And the world really isn't that bad, at least in my first world neighborhood. People are illuminatingly stupid, sure, but that doesn't mean you have to do more than briefly interact and be kind to them. Try to seek out more intelligent people, and not the pseudointellectuals here on 4chang. I'm cripplingly lonely but I do have a small group of friends I enjoy talking politics and retarded shit with.

Agree on all points, except I think "capitalism" should be elaborated. The problem is specific to the type of capitalism we have, or rather to the way modern currency works. In a system where currency is backed by precious metals or real production nobody cares about economic growth, the economy fluctuates based on laws of supply and demand, and life doesn't need to revolve around work or career. Fiat currencies are only worth what the world thinks they're worth, so in order to maintain value a nation's economy needs to maintain a certain level of constant growth. This means that constant activity is required, even if the activity doesn't necessarily generate any real value. Modern nations need everyone to work all the time so that they have money to spend to keep the economy growing. Having women in the workplace is "good" because more workers=more economic activity=more pointless growth. But all you really have is a giant, miserable human mass that does nothing but work all the time and spend what they earn on useless consumer garbage. Humans, regardless of gender, race, whatever, are just empty economic units whose primary purpose in the system is to work and waste money. Unsurprisingly, this creates a culture of individualism where everyone is out for themselves and nobody has meaningful relationships or wants to form families. One way or the other, the modern world needs to end.

Honestly Foucault was right about age of consent laws. It’s a completely fabricated crime with no victim. If the laws were removed, there would still be other more diffuse kinds of social control to prevent creepy behavior.
