He "borrowed" from Seneca the Younger, Lucretius, Epicurus, Plotinus. I don't think his Ethics introduced anything spectacular except that it was a slight rebuttal against Descartes where as Leibniz is sort of a fusion of both of them. I'd say it's fifty-fifty.
