if i read too many challenging books in a row and get burnt out, i follow it up with pure trash. its a great way to regain momentum.
also, in reading trash, you get a better idea of what you like and what you dont.
if you only read perfect literature, its harder to develop taste
its best to read mostly highbrow literature and then a touch of garbage
