You can’t. If you are an NPC, your intuition is only set in quantitative aspects; so in other words, you are a walking, talking, breathing computer.

Real humans have an intuition that can actualize qualitative aspects.

If there is anything in the world you care about, it's impossible to not to be an NPC.

Do you have an inner monologue? How do you process complex ideas on a day-to-day basis?

here, also: do you have a Manichean approach to political opinions? Do you believe you need to stand up against "the evil ideas" and be "on the right side of History"?

You're fine OP, NPC's don't worry about whether or not they're an NPC.

This. Unless you constantly feel the need to "fit in" with people you're most likely not one. NPCs are like another anon said, walking, talking, breathing computers.

Not OP. I firmly do not believe in the right side of history, there's just no way that idea holds any water.

What the issue with it? Shit seems pretty obvious and easy (assuming you don't expect crazy 180 changes in the future); it's just people who claim to be there, usually have things going on which would put them on the wrong side either way.

Trying not to sound like Moldbug discussing the whig theory of history:
1) It's almost always given as a vapid political argument, browbeating a politial discussion and reduces down to: "agree with me or else."
2) It's determinism, which i do not think is true for the most part.
3) It implies history has one specific direction. I think history is a lot like evolution as a process, which has no particular direction in mind, 'it' just goes where it will go.

I’m a determinist in theory, but in all due practicality it doesn’t mean to much. If we take for a given that everything is caused by causality, I think it’s the fight of folly that we, a small part of the larger system of everything are not subject to it as well. By bring attention to the fact you are adding information to the system that makes one on a lower level think they are going against it, but as logic dictates, we are not. However, I think it’s basically futile to say what is going to happen because we can only abstract the system in totality and we are bound as particulars in the system. If we rewond time 5 minutes with no one the wiser I believe the next five minutes will play out exactly the same. I’m not making any certainty of what the future will be, due to the limits of our perception, But I’m relatively convinced that whatever future it is will happen.

Good. Although I’d recommend begining with Kant. I’d be lying if I said I read all of Hegel, but much of his ideas are useful in stratifying knowledge and contingency.

I always saw him as a fundamental thinker, but always were afraid to approach his works, I'll get into it next. I wish I were a student to be honest.

I’m a history student, but most of my Phil knowledge came self taught (though I had a few good his of thought teachers) I’m actually pretty piss pour at all applying myself outside of class, so I listened to most of the philosophers on audiobook lol. Going semi-chronologically actually makes most of the stuff make sense and you don’t need much or any outside resources.

>NPC/ NeurotyPiCal
Based post. Neurotypicals are legit subhumans. Anyone who doesn’t feel anxiety or depression in this society is legitimately not human, as this society is a shit show, and adaption to it proves that one is programmable.

That being said, schizos and what not are all just crazies; I am only speaking about “psychological disorders” that show lack of adaption to the current society.

>> No.14730734

Neurotypical folks are what we minority groups call NPC's. They have varied activities and responses, but are limited to emotional and intellectual experience. This experience is based around how neurotypical they are (more = NPC) and what environmental factors have affected them (more = PC) these two things threaten the balance of nature, sometimes causing NPC's to become PC's. or PC's to eventually recede into NPCism. Although one cannot fully assume the shape of the other. If you are not mentally fucked in the head and don't question your daily routine, or even have a routine, it just begs the question that you may be of that of an NPC origin. IF you are fucked and feel beat up, you may consider yourself lucky to be conscious and suffering. I'm a black man on the keys, everybody have a good fried chicken and watermelon dinner, ya'll! BeastieAssNiggah, out!..
