"Nothing is true" is a truth statement. If nothing is knowable, you can't know that nothing is knowable.

That said, radical scepticism is probably correct.

The monkey in question somehow actually cancelled & destroyed all ignorant post-medieval Western philosophy.

If a radical skeptic thinks or does anything that requires any assumption whatever, behold, he is a hypocrite.

The radical skeptic, having the least personal credibility of all philosophers, can convince no one to be/think like him.

He can empty schools and churches, but never for long, and he can never build or people his own.

Pretty much these. Solipsism, strictly speaking, is the "correct" worldview but trying to live with said worldview or build anything on it is impossible. So you have to just believe in something, whether that be your senses or God or whatever.

Skepticism is epistemically the safest position. Have fun being an invisible nothing of a person.

Punch them in the face and ask if they were just struck. If they say that they can't be sure, punch them again and ask again. Repeat until they are dead or until they admit they are sure that it happened.

A radical skeptic can never be certain that radical skepticism is a true or good position.

The biblical Satan was the first one.

>DID God indeed say you will die if you eat of the fruit?
>HE did not say it
>You will NOT die
>But be as gods

Skepticism is the lead-in to advocate dissipation, hedonism. It's rarely more than that.

Whether the Edeb story happened IRL or not doesnt matter: a posture of skepticism in order to get your own way has been identified as a marker of being objectively evil.

>> No.14683601

Skeptics say that skepticism is the most reasonable position. But they most have gotten that knowledge somehow. If they didn't get it from somewhere, then that knowledge is unjustified, if they got it from somwhere, then they believe that knowledge can be justified in some way, and then skepticism is defeated becuse knowledge can be justified.

the logic youre using to reach scepticism is fallible. thus believing and doubting something are rendered equally wrong.
