Someone bought me this so I feel like I should read it, I can't really be bothered with that type of book though.

The main character is a self insert power fantasy who still manages to get cucked because he's a "nice guy." The author is American who glorifies Gypsy people. The story literally doesn't go anywhere. I once saw the author reject a fan question at a convention because the fan was white and apparently there were too many white people asking questions. I could think of more reasons if I wanted.

As long as we're on the topic of guilty pleasure fantasy, what did everyone think about the last Lightbringer book? It felt like his editors were tired of this series and really wanted him to just wrap it up, and he kind of fucked up by introducing all these extra plot threads the last couple of books.
