The only thing that makes your life better is your own efforts and the graceful charity of your relationships. Spending more time than is necessary engaging with a price exploitation machine designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator is not enriching. Making a friend who has more of an identity than the absolute bare minimum universal human qualities depicted by Disney is enriching.

To live a better life. Even if you were to do that, the time you’d spent accumulating money will have been a much better use of your time than consuming or creating art. Btw, I’m not saying this to discourage anybody. I’ve spent the majority of my life being obsessed with the arts and will probably do so forever.
