>renounce everything both external as well as internal
All attachments, ideology, philosophy ,desires ,expectations imposed by others, your future ,your past but most of all your identity even any spiritual seeking ,destination or god.
Until nothing is left.

“Everything is meant to be lost, that the soul may stand in unhampered nothingness.''

“It is written: ‘They have become rich in all virtues’ (1 Cor. 1:5). Truly, this cannot happen unless they first become poor in all things. Whoever desires to be given everything, must first give everything away.”
― Meister Eckhart, Selected Writings

When nothing is left to drop, feel the heart and you will feel fullness in nothingness.
It is like dipping into a hot spring of bliss, pleasure and peace which keeps dissolving you all illusions and suffering.

Once you taste bliss no philosophical cope or religious system can convince you that are doing it wrong.

The hot spring is always there inside you the challenge is to bring its warmth in everything you do and everywhere you are .
“There is no need to look for God here or there. He is no farther away than the door of your own heart.” ― Meister Eckhart

Long time and effort is needed only to realize that time and effort is not needed that its a mere illusion a paradox that in its search to destroy the self keeps the self alive.
>Remember anons you're only cucking yourselves from eternal pleasure of divinity that is already there .

I want to be religious again but after reading Nietzsche, anything ascetic in nature seems like it has to be a cope now. How do I overcome this bros?

Realize that the greatest men throughout history were all ascetics and Nietzsche himself was one.

Well Nietzsche certainly didn't want to be one if he was.

You possess nothing, already.
Everything you hold onto will slip away.

Then become a hedonist , eat the cake until it makes you sick only when you truly realize no material pleasure can fill your cup or provide meaningful joy are you ever closer to pleasure of divinity

>Purification
Empty yourself to give space for bliss of god to arise .
A silent mind above the life situation you're in not enchanted by the illusion of what is happening(the content of that fills the space). Then accept life with your heart an inner yes to isness or god ,terms dont matter only quiet bliss and peace that are always there above any duality is what matters.

I will not surrender ego. You can't, anyways. By surrendering myself, in effect, I die. This detached bliss is a relinquishment of what matters to you. When the building burns, do you not desire to exit before the flames consume you? Get out of the fucking burning building and seek what you desire. Come to your senses.

It is only a limiting self which u come to understand is not serving or beneficial. You make way out of personal cocoon of energy to plug into an endless source of wisdom and pleasure.
