I'm concerned for him. He's becoming a vlogger.

His videos started off pretty comfy, around the time he still lived in the UK. He's so embarrassing now, just trying to drum up controversy at every opportunity. He figures himself to be some rebel thinker, all I see is a mediocre academic trying to run a ponzi scheme with nothing interesting to say.

If you watch his videos he provides reasons as to why but I agree with you, the daily videos are annoying and without substance. I at first didn't like Justin but thought he was onto something so I stuck with him. The base of his philosophical identity is in the right place: anti-academicism and use of the internet. Though he comes off as confused now. I feel like he should focus on producing solid works but maybe he has different objectives.

It looks to me like he's realizing how much of a hustle YouTube turns out to be and is scrambling for content. As an academic your work is held to a high standard but you get plenty vacation and can retread material for years. Now he's trying to do similar academic work in a rapid fire sink or swim system.

being a one trick pony online and confident about it is homer simpson tier and an insult to fans

He needs a more coherent online presence. He needs to stop taking for 30 minutes before interviews and start immediately like Rogan. He needs to do multiple interviews ever week. He needs to talk less about his life and teach more
