Can a monkey become human?

I always viewed the Ubermensch as a hypothetical future state of humanity - what we could become if we fulfilled our true potential. Maybe people like Goethe, Borgia, etc. were representative of a sneak peak, but I think if you're asking "What kind of lifestyle can I lead to become the ubermensch?" you're asking the wrong question. Nietzsche even says in Zarathustra that we should strive to create the world into which the ubermensch will be born. So I see the goal more as "How can we accelerate the development of a humanity that goes past humanity?" rather than "How I become the superman guize???"

Yes lots of retards seem to completely misapprehend the idea of the overman as some kind of self-improvement #lifegoal (which leads them to condemn the notion as unrealistic and arrogant) when Nietzsche is obviously talking about the overman as a project, a kind of new teleological ideal for culture to work toward—the production of great individuals.
