Combining prayers for Sunnis you refer to is called making them up, it's considered undesirable and a serious sin to do on purpose. It's not acceptable deliberate practice

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said Ali was the greatest of all judges, and his student's student's student was Abu Hanifa. The fact is there are today major, major praxiological differences between Sunnis and Shia, the political issue is only relevant because of either rejecting the legitimacy of the Rashidun (which Ali didn't do, making him a Sunni), or a praxiological and theological one (something that developed over time and has gotten crazy). If you pray five times a day and don't reject the legitimacy of the Rashidun then you are de facto a Sunni
