I forgot to write my question: what should I add and what should I take out? Also, this list isn’t in order, are there any books I should read specifically before others?

Matthew Henry published a prayer book in 1710 that is just verses of the KJV put together to form prayers. It is used to teach people to pray in a Scriptural way. If you like the KJV you will like it.
The book is called A Method for Prayer.

This is a nice list; now I'm going to steal it.

Don't bother with modern versions like the NIV just in case you didn't know. Also, if you want more info on how bad and fraudulent the modern translations really are, then watch this documentary if you have 2 hours to spare.

What do you get out of being paranoid?

That synoptic you posted takes things out of context just to make a specious point. Take the massage from Mark, which is supposed to make us gasp that "for them who trust in riches has been removed" by, what, Jew bankers? The surrounding verses in one of these NWO translations, the NIV, reads:

21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.

23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”

24 The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Gasp! So pro-wealth!

Do you even look into this stuff or just advance it in bad faith?

The thread is about Christian books in Early Modern English. It has NOTHING to do with your retard argument. The last time I made this thread, it was all orthodoxy vs protestantism, and this time it looks like it’s gonna be kjv onlyism vs non-kjv onlyism, unless it’s nipped in the bud now, which I’m trying to do. Get the fuck out of this thread. This thread has nothing to do with your retard argument. Suggest books in Early Modern English or get the fuck out

Sounds like no one cares about what you want, kid. Must suck, huh? Why would you want references to the bible anyway? You're a spoiled, crybaby. Go back to your porn and violent movies and let the adults concern themselves with this.

Can you not read about Christianity? You are just going to make Christians look bad when your parents die and you end on a street corner dressed in old wool lined with newspaper billowing out the neck and sleeves muttering at people shit about 'Henry Darnley going to mass with the Queen...' &c.
