It's hard not to think of those people as left when they are the ones monopolizing the term, and they occupy all university and culture industry positions and use them as soapboxes to loudly say "I'm a Marxist, that's why you should let children be trannies!" Most people are not going to spend years delving into the intellectual history of the left to find out exactly what went wrong in the '60s and what the "real" left is, when 99% of self-professing leftists they encounter are proud tranny fag communists.

Marxism is fundamentally unsatisfying to anyone who doesn't like his quasi-Hegelian "materialist" metaphysics of history, which seems to deny human agency and the possibility will-based politics. Revleft, /leftypol/, all the regulars of those places are so used to being on the fringes that they've adapted to that situation by being effeminately snide and petulant to any newcomers.

So even if I dig through the trannies and bourgeois champagne socialist college faggots and women, even if I dig through the scientism queers with their internet holdouts of jerking eachother off and resentfully talking about how unappreciated their brilliance is, I still come face to face with Marx himself at best being ambiguous with regard to a romantic approach to history, at worst denying it outright, and most of his followers being either fabian scientism idiots or internationalist Jews who happily occupied American culture industry sinecures and transformed postwar Germany into a Jewish Weimar as revenge for WW2. Not appealing.
