Perhaps technology operates to the advantage of such turbo-autists. The whole furry phenomenon baffles me in most respects, though I suspect a contributing factor is neglectful single moms who endlessly use recordings of anthropomorphic animations to babysit their children. Maybe in former decades the same stunted creatures resided mostly in institutions.

Having seen my own family do this to their own children, I feel concerned. I've got a nephew who is a toddler at the moment, and because of our family's highly musical background, it turns out that he's already exhibiting mild musical talent. Not Mozart worthy, but most toddlers don't grasp rhythm or pitching singing as intuitively as he has. But he sits behind an ipad most of the time I see him wasting his fucking hours by. I fantasize of one day leaving my career to stay at home to be not just a father, but a tutor to my son. I'd spend hours with him enhancing his inherited gift of music, teaching him piano from a young age. I would entertain him with mathematics and reading. I would own only one electronic device (a computer for myself, and for him to maybe program) so that his exposure to industry-made music is minimal, and so that I can keep his sense and dopamine receptors intact. I imagine a scenario wherein after all these efforts, he would, on his first day of school, triumph over the other kids whose brains are beyond repair and stand out as a virtuous and intellectual child. It would be a difficult task, but that as of late has been my primary dream.

It's literary garbage, but it sells. People want it, there is a viable niche market.
Pick your niche, do a little research, and get to it.
Last I looked, pic related author was pulling in several thousand USD per month from this title as well as others of a similar ilk.
