There is some sweet irony in imagining the children of these cowards, left-wing homosexuals, and "revolutionaries" being marched off under an Emperor to be ground into hamburger in Russia.

A culture in disturbance erupts with insanity. When you see what the aristocracy was doing prior to the revolution, it makes sense why it exploded in rivers of blood. Not letting the peasants hunt in their own back yards, excessive taxes on the very poorest. The peasants were not even allowed to cull game animals that ate their crops, because all game was the property of the royalty. The judicial system was a complete farce and the aristocracy could have someone destroyed through it at a whim. Judges were basically their servants.

The Third Estate tried being reasonable. It petitioned and petitioned to no avail. The aristocracy turned their noses up at them, and lost their heads for it.
