Look at how close the Israeli and American militaries are for examples (some officers in both armies describe the relation as "marital"). Remember nearly everyone in Israel goes through military service. Even if no American Jews were pro-american there would still be a pretty high proportion of pro-americans among Jews.

And there are a lot of pro-american imperialism neocons (not that it is the only form of pro-americanism, but it's one form) among Jews who are not in active duty.

As someone who has frequented a lot of French Jews I also can tell you they have a strong cultural fascination for the US.
