There is absolutely no more /lit/ career choice (aside from the obvious) than being a criminal or family lawyer. It is honestly the most satisfying thing I have ever done.

You are getting paid to read through the most page-turning family drama you can imagine. Other people might hear some gossip about their friend/family member going through a bad divorce, but I get the whole enchilada. Almost every case involves accusations of domestic violence, cheating, back and force correspondence between husband/wife about how much they hate each other, fighting over custody, financial ruin, etc.

It's a similar story for criminal law though its something I practice less. Often the accused is absolutely bat shit insane and you get a whole load of witness statements and psych reports detailing their character. The only problem with both of these fields is that often the male often leaves JUSTed by the wife, or the crime is extremely confronting and sad.

Lawyers are insufferable though. The way you speak to people during cross-examination deserves a kick in fucking balls every time.

Let me guess, you only know about cross examinations because you used to play Ace Attorney?

This was the first thing I've assumed OP where talking about and was about to agree wholeheartedly.
Living the life on the edge during your youth and then write your biography in prison. By the time you get out you are a bestsellingv author.

For a second I thought the first option was being a criminal. That's /lit/ as fuck if you are doing non violent robberies or bank heists. Being a lawyer is a silly excuse to pretend you are /lit/ when you are nothing but a wagecuck that reads the most boring form of "prose"
