Yeah that's why I'm interested. I have a couple other books from Urbanomic, from the Collapse series, and those are good but the stuff Nick Land writes is much more entertaining to me.

Land is the next Schopenhauer, so yes.

Is this what people read next after The Conspiracy Against The Human Race by Thomas Ligotti is tossed aside and gathers dust? You kids and your Left leaning postmodern nihilistic thinkers are so adorable.

Land is actually fairly right wing when it comes to accelerationism, wanting capitalist structures to evolve until the world collapses.

He does not expect a collapse he expects the transformation of humans into monsters and the replacement of humans with machines.

Most of his readers seem left wing. Unless you count his new phase.

Brainlet here. Do I need to read anything to prime myself for Land's work or can I jump right in and maybe understand what he's saying?

>> No.13513051

>>13513046
I think he's really accessible, just jump right in. Just google the articles OP mentioned and see if you can get into it. Dark Enlightenment is a good one to start with.

Marx, Kant, you should have a passing understanding of occult and schizophrenic themes too. For occult try Crowley or Lovecraft. For schizophrenia try Deleuze or Burroughs.
