Almost the exact opposite actually. iirc it encourages an ego-based philosophy in which ones own needs always comes before anyone else's.

According to the book men should be confident, responsible and charming. They should be unapologetic about what they want. They should approach exactly the types of women they think they cannot get. They should always have sex before committing in a relationship. They should maintain multiple partners to eliminate any sense of scarcity. They should not get married or get attached to any one women. Presumably they should not have children (or at least I don't remember any mention of having kids). The book makes no value judgment on infidelity (that is women that have husbands, men are supposed to be up front about it).

The book does deliver on what it sets out to accomplish. Anyone that actually follows it will attract high quality women. But sadly, that's not where true contentment lies.
