I honestly don't feel like getting in an internet argument with some incel poltard who's not even going to engage in a good faith debate. white people hate the environment and have been trying to destroy in for hundreds of years. In the 60s environmentalism became popular with white hippy types because it provided them with a rationalization their neocolonialist white instinct to appropriate other cultures, engage in tourism to exotic locations, and virtue signal about driving a Prius. Really though, environmentalism is inherently opposed to whiteness, Capitalism, and western supremacist culture.

Unless you're talking about neoliberals (inspired by the liberals of 17th and 18th century) the right has always been environmentalist.
You are being delusional thinking that only the left cares about nature, in fact, the idea of a simple life style on nature is a far away concept for the left, since all their doctrine is based of materialism ideas and and the endless chase for "progress".
The closest thing the left has is the vegan ativism and global warming fight, but the guy that actually started most of these ideas was Hitler. Back then, the communists wanted to seize the means of prodicuction and advocate for better lifes in the cities.

You stupid fuck, OP. The prologue of the Bible instructs man to rape the Earth.

From Genesis chapter 1:

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

Native Americans never did anything to the environment. Only white people have on any significant scale. Of course, there have been times in history where Asians or African or Native Americans have harmed the environment, but this is generally only because they have to or have been coerced into doing so by colonialist white powers.

For example, India uses a lot of coal because most gas and renewable is used by white, who use their militarizes to control foreign lands and seize their resources so that other countries can't use them. 99% of the time when a brown or indigenous person is "harming" the environment it is because they are facing some sort of disadvantageous socioeconomic situation that they were put in by whites. It's also no really fair to compare whites with brown people because whites are foreign invaders whereas brown people are indigenous natives, so they can't really "harm" or "pollute" their environment in the same sense, since they're actually a part of their environment.

Epistemologically and rhetorically speaking, I don't understand the criticism in this pic. Even if you don't believe something it make perfect sense to appeal to the beliefs of someone else in making an argument. It's called having a theory of mind. Also, how the fuck are you going to perform a reductio if you can't take on someone elses perspective, so to speak.

By the way, I don't support immigration or anything, I'm just confused because you pic seems to be suggesting that this rhetorical strategy is either logically fallacious or morally questionable.

I don't see nothing wrong in using the perspective of your audience to actually make a compeling argument. The problem is, most of the time when this happens it is by a twisted view, not like when you talk to a feminist that supports lots of shit just to contradict herself afterwards, but as taking a quote out of context and just say "yo, you cant do that, not christian enough" even though Jesus basically said "be chill, but not so chill" as it is showed in the bible when he expells the merchants of the temple and calls jews sons of the devil.

>Is there any greater hubris than Christianity? Besides thinking that a god would give a fuck about you lowly mortals, you get up and spend about three hours getting ready to spend the day entirely within His gaze. Curling your fine locks; slowly inching on exquisite leggings; plucking away at the unsightly; adorning an intricately sewn and soft pair of felt shoes so that the earth remains undisturbed by your fleeing feet; closing yourself within layer upon layer of corsets and featherings to keep all forces and elements at bay while attracting the fancy of the piercing eyes of the world; spritzing your skin and hair with the eternal glaze of a prism; a second layer of leggings and tights to show off your gleamingly placid contours in relaxed poses; a wide-brimmed hat with the sweeping peacock lines of the ethereal; and finally a veiled nightshirt to keep any remaining inclement weather from betraying your fair skin, and especially adding the gravity of the world to those bouncing curls.

>Yes. Yes. You are so fine and beholden to the heavens, an earthen vessel which G-d would love to take in his kind hands, kissing you gently. He will slowly remove all those layers of linen and silk, revealing the blossoming curves of you, the Virtuous Man. A spider woven into His web. And once naked in the light beyond this cursed earth He will ravage your gentle body without making you feel like a whore.

>He will even watch as you spend another three hours piecing together your assemblage of the finest knitwear, just waiting for that gentle jiggling of the buttocks as you tighten your corset. As you gracefully walk back into the earthly delights He will drape your curtain over your pallid shoulders; for You are the Veil of Maya and Logos.

Checked.

>Christianity is not merely the death of God, nor an unfolding recreation within His corpse, it is an exhumation; a harvesting of His organs as talents for Asclepius in the eleventh-hour of the war of Man against the gods; a scorched-earth legalism of necrophilia with the cadaver's limbs; an appeasement to some unnameable force. Ineffable execration of everything beautiful, every eternal law—to which it is then reformed in stone, the graveyard of natural law.

>This is why the Church exists eternally in retreat, within the petrified justice of its founding, forever reliant upon tentative alliances with its enemies. Natural law undone through apostasy, Christianity is the defilement of creation, disgorgement of Christ's exit wound, the world-weariness of the resurrected, the Holy Ghost of blood spatter pattering on the sarcophagus.

>The Christian Saint befouls every sanctuary, entombing humanity and the law of gods into a deepening pit. Pan is declared dead only so that Aphrodite is forced to reveal herself in judgement. And here the Crucifix becomes the mark of the World Wound, every sanctum crossed out, so that humanity will either submit or have to contend with the monstrous gods released from Orcus. The sarcophagus expands its walls as Christianity attempts to condemn Aphrodite to the plight of Io.

>God reveals nothing but His treachery, He is not content with meager resignation of the warring gods, the fallen angels, capitulation and eternal exile are akin to a pardon for him. No, he wants his enemies to rise as dark spirits, chthonic forces feeding on all that remains in opposition to Him. He desires neither the death of the gods nor consumption of their power, He wants to maim and mutilate them—force them to hobble along in his shadow, eternally in His image. Branded as a warning against all who may oppose Him in the future. He wants to entomb himself within the corpse of the world.

>There can be no other interpretation of Christianity, its apotheosis erupts from the forges of Hephaestus, the lame one. A world of abysmal law enchained to iron-forged gods, and falling to the forces it fails to nullify—the Christian God attempts to sunder and disgorge the heavens, the material devastation nothing compared to the loss of understanding of eternal laws, of dominion. Each saint reduced to the piety of automatons, acephali.

>If there is a theological meaning to the Book, it has, until now, escaped revelation.

Big cope. Another cool feature of christianity: constant, and I mean CONSTANT desire to physically attack and destroy any and all ideas or people that are not 100% aligned with their own personal head canon of what the dead jewish revolutionary is or isn't, or did or did not teach.

This is similar to saying pagans should thank a rapist for not murdering them as well. You people are so, so sick.

They burned everything.
Why do you think the meme islamic golden age was a thing?

All that late antiquity culture and knowledge bailed out from europe and into the middle east. Christianity true form is that of a cult, it's paganised semitic mythology.

For those actually interested in furthering their Faith through an ecological lens, you can start with the ecotheology series by Rev. Richard Cartwright Austin. Specifically the first book, "Baptized Into Wilderness".
I would just be careful that the reverand sometimes assigns attributes to the Lord that the Bible might not necessarily back up. So if you are more fundamentalist and take the Bible as the be all end all you may not enjoy these books.
You can find them on amazon but I borrowed them from my university library.
If you don't readily have access to the books, try reading anything on John Muir for a start.
God bless!

im an atheist with a few acres of farmland that i use to grow food for homeless and poor people free of charge
god isn't real but the teachings of christ remain valid in most aspects. loving your neighbor isn't exclusive to christians, just good people with compassion for living things. i treat living things with respect because life is all we have and it should be fostered and cherished in order to maximize happiness and well-being. if you need a God and the fear of sin to make you be a good person you're not even a real Christian in the first place

Well, there's 'Laudato si'' by Pope Francis.

>He "describe[s] a relentless exploitation and destruction of the environment, for which he blamed apathy, the reckless pursuit of profits, excessive faith in technology and political shortsightedness."

>Pope Francis points out, technology is viewed as "principal key to the meaning of existence" and asks the world to "resist" its "assault".
